Massage for back pain and tightness

You’re not alone!

At least 75% of my clients get massage for back tightness and discomfort.

Backs come in all shapes and sizes: long backs, short backs, twisty backs, curvy backs, flat backs, flexible backs, rigid backs.

Backs are as unique and as different as the people they belong too, I should know – I’ve massaged more backs than your average massage therapist.

I’d love to say there are certain types of back that get sore and other that don’t.

I have clients who are super fit and strong and have really painful back problems. Take the BodyBuilder who tweaked their back making the bed and couldn’t move from the pain.

Or the client who’s back feels like a rigid board on the outside but they feel totally fine on the inside, no pain, no issues, no problem.

Unfortunately, we’ll probably all feel back pain at some point in our life.

I use to get a really sore lower back myself – probably from bad habits when I use to weight train in my very early 20’s. It’s actually one of the reasons I ended up doing this job.

How your back feels on the inside is a totally personal experience and probably bears no relationship to what it looks or feels like on the outside.

Helping clients improve how their back feels has been my bread and butter for 29 years.

If your back is feeling tight and stiff, book a massage, I’m sure I can help you out.
